“Strengthen Your Spirit — Starve Your Flesh”

Brethren, as you go into this week, I urge you to take one intentional action each day to weaken the desires of the flesh and strengthen your inner man. Anchor each action in the Word of God. It is my prayer that each time I hear from you this week, it shall be one testimony after another in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

DAY 1 — Remember Who You Are

Meditate on: 1 Pet. 2:11; Heb. 11:13; Phil. 3:20; Eph. 2:19

Challenge: Write down one area where you’ve forgotten your pilgrim identity and surrender it to God.

DAY 2 — Guard Your Soul

Meditate on: Rom. 12:2; James 1:14–15; 1 Pet. 1:22; Ps. 119:11

Challenge: Replace one unhealthy thought pattern with a scripture you will speak aloud all day.

DAY 3 — Examine Your Desires

Meditate on: Gen. 3:6; Prov. 14:12; 2 Cor. 11:13–15; Prov. 16:18

Challenge: Identify one “harmless” desire that has been gaining influence and confront it with God’s truth.

DAY 4 — Audit Your Associations (Environment)

Meditate on: 1 Cor. 15:33; Ps. 1:1–3; Prov. 13:20; 2 Cor. 6:14–17

Challenge: Choose one relationship or environment to step back from this week — strategically, not emotionally.

DAY 5 — Feed Your Spirit

Meditate on: Josh. 1:8; Ps. 119:97; Jn. 4:23–24; Isa. 58:6; Acts 2:42; Gal. 5:13

Challenge: Commit to one spiritual discipline today: such as extended worship, fasting, fellowship, or service.

DAY 6 — Walk in the Spirit

Meditate on: Gal. 5:16–17; Rom. 8:5–6; Ps. 73:17; 2 Cor. 10:4–5

Challenge: Take one decision today and intentionally ask, “Is this led by the Spirit or by my flesh?”

DAY 7 — Declare Victory

Meditate on: 1 Jn. 5:4; Rom. 8:37; 2 Cor. 2:14; Jude 24

Challenge: Speak a victory declaration over your life: “My spirit is stronger than my flesh, and I will walk in Total and Unstoppable Victory.”
